Awesome: Chair.

While doing our daily browsing on CONTEMPORIST, we came across this chair by Noé Duchaufour-Lawrance for Bernhardt design:

Needless to say, we were immediately won over (like, times a thousand)  Then, we saw a video showing the construction process of this fine piece of seating apparatus – and it took our breath away even more!!  Talk about design lust….

Encino Renovation: Finished Product Sneak Peek!

Back in the summer and fall, you may remember that we were working on a renovation in Encino.  Well, we will be posting all of the photos of the finished project soon, but we had to show you just one now!  I must say, it looks awesome!!  I suggest taking a look at what the entire home looked like before we go our design hands into it.

Hard to tell that its the same room, right?  We are excited to show you the other parts of the house!

Awesome: Newspaper Chairs

As we were partaking in our daily design blog routine, we found some rad chairs that made us want to gather our old-school paper, scissors and glue and redecorate the office!

“Using old newspapers, Gougherty molds stackable seats produced through gluing together quarter inch paper layers and finishing the chair with a resin dip. The result is a very light, surprisingly rigid piece of furniture.” (via curatedmag.com)
